The Hollywood Cookie Diet Review

I am not an affiliate of the Hollywood
Cookie Diet, nor am I profiting off of
this review.
Well day 1 of my Avon blog just happens to be day 1 of  me and my fiance starting The Hollywood Cookie diet so that's going to be my first blog post LOL.

Okay so let me tell you how this came about.  We were out and about on Saturday doing some shopping and we went to an overstock/discount store called A Little Bit of Everything.  We were be bopping around and saw The Hollywood Cookie Diet on the shelf and it was buy one get one free, the package had 30 cookies and was only $9.99! (ok, they were technically expired but only by a few weeks lol) We had been looking at what kind of diet we wanted to go on and when we saw this, it kinda just sealed the deal, we were like hey why not?  I knew it was a deal because I had seen it online and it sells for like $19.99 for only 12 cookies!!!  So thats the background for trying this diet, no rhyme or reason, just got it cheap!

We each got a box and my plan is to try it for one week and see how it goes.  I will post updates every other day.

So how does it work you ask?   The directions on the box simply say to enjoy four cookies per day, one for breakfast, one for mid morning snack, one for lunch and one for a mid-afternoon snack. You can then have a sensible meal for dinner (I believe they suggest 600-900 calories) oh and don't for get to exercise regularly (there will be no regular exercise here lol, this will truly be a diet alone test).  So if you ate the 4 cookies (150 calories ea) and dinner consisting of 600-900 calories, you're looking at a total caloric intake for the day of 1200-1500 calories.

DAY 1-----starting weight 126 lbs

Let's just start off by saying that it was extremely difficult not to stop by Dunkin Donuts on my way to work to get my usual egg & cheese croissant and medium regular coffee......instead I focused on finally fitting into my jeans and continued on my merry way :-)

9:00 am----- finally getting to my first chocolate chip cookie, I open the package and am not that surprised, it's probably 2" around and looks and smells, well lets just say its not a gooey Toll House choc chip cookie right out of the oven.....ok, here goes....first bite.....hmmm not too bad, better than I expected actually...it's a very dense cookie and is packed with 5g of protein and 3g of fiber, I guess that's what probably keep the hunger pangs away.  Believe it or not, I made that first cookie last almost an hour lol...I also made myself a cup of tea since I was craving something hot.

11:00 am----time for another cookie.  I'm not totally starving, but I ate this one a bit quicker than the first, I still managed to make it  last about 1/2 hour though, still sipping on my cup of tea.

2:30 pm----waited a bit longer between cookies because, well, I wasn't that hungry!  I have to say, I am quite surprised at the fact that it really does seem to fill you up.   So I make this one last for about 1/2 hour also and am sipping on water.....

5:00 pm-----ok, I have to admit, I am really, really looking forward to having anything but a choc chip cookie lol.....so I had a small bowl of cheese tortellini leftovers, I really don't have any idea how many calories were in it, but I can't imagine it had more than 900, plus I didn't have my 4th cookie, so that was another 150 calories I had to play with.

I actually was satisfied for the rest of the night and only had water, which by the way I really should drink more of, but I find it so hard to drink a lot of liquid during the day, I don't know why, I've just always been like that.....I'm probably dehydrated and don't even know it lol....
